Château Purcari Feteasca Neagra De Purcari 2019, Moldova

Founded in 1827, Purcari is proof that Moldovan wines have real history. And quality too: the brand won its first gold medal in 1878 at the Paris World’s Fair. More recently, they’ve snagged hundreds of accolades at internationally respected competitions like the Decanter World Wine Awards. Although they grow some international varieties too, Purcari work to raise awareness of indigenous grapes such as Fetească Neagră and plummy Rară Neagră. Aromas of red berries give way to juicy flavours of plum and blackberry.
