Bodegas Roda ′Roda I′ Rioja Reserva 2015/16

Bodegas Roda is one of Rioja’s forward-thinking producers. They began just over 30 years ago and aim to show the modern face of the region. As a result, they’re quickly gaining plenty of fans. They age this Reserva in French, as opposed to American, oak. This gives a much more subtle oak influence to the wine. Think well-integrated chocolate and tobacco that join hints of black fruit and plum. Try it with a roast dinner.
