Black Stallion ′Poseidon′ Chardonnay 2017, Napa Valley

The iconic Black Stallion winery is located at the historic Silverado Equestrian Center, which was a filming location for Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now. The ‘Poseidon’ vineyard behind this wine is situated close to the San Pablo Bay, in Los Carneros, and benefits from its cooling maritime influences. As a result, this Chardonnay is the freshest made by the producer. Expect flavours of lemon, apple, white nectarine, crème brulée and ginger. Try it with roasted salmon.
